STIRLING MOMS SOCIETY - 2009

The Stirling Moms SOCIETY – SMS is a predominantly social network of active Stirling Moms who have a need to get to know each other, get involved at the school on a different level, and even network a little when the oppurtunity arises.

SMS tries to arrange at least one informative social evening per term where interesting speakers are invited to address pertinent issues.

SMS have created the Ning Social Blogpage (http://stirlingmoms.ning.com/) to serve as a basis for our network. Moms are invited, and encouraged to register online. Over time, we will tailor the page to keep our social page interactive, informative, up to date and fun! Currently the blog is used to organise and market our social evenings and update moms on interesting events and happenings in and around school and East London in general.

Members are readily able to add their own events and notes as they please, and photos of school related activities are regularly added by our avid photographic moms. The blog also provides the ideal oppurtunity for moms to get to put names to faces by checking out the other members’ profiles.

..and hoard of other happily active moms who love to socialise and network and be involved.
