Stirling Primary School

At Stirling Primary each child is encouraged to participate in the sports programme. We believe in the benefits of participating in competitive team and individual sport and in developing an appreciation for physical exercise and competition. We are able to offer a wide range of sports thanks to the superb sport facilities and excellent coaching at our disposal. The result is that many of our young sportsmen and women annually achieve provincial and national representation.

Sporting codes offered:

Athletics
Biathle and Biathlon – indoor heated pool and extensive grounds
Canoeing (Nahoon River)
Chess
Cricket – indoor and outdoor practice nets and three pitches
Cross country running
Golf – local golf courses
Hockey – two full and two mini hockey grass fields – coaching to boys and girls
Karate is offered by an external sensei who uses our premises for his classes
Netball – 4 netball courts
Pony Club
Rugby – two rugby fields
Squash – Stirling High School courts and others
Swimming – professional coaching every week in our indoor heated pool
Tennis – comprehensive hard court facilities
Waterpolo – Stirling High School’s heated, indoor water polo pool
